The Young Americans make their annual visit to Gaylord at Noon on Wednesday, July 14.

Founded in 1962 - The Young Americans® were the first group to put choreography to choral singing, and with national television exposure in the 60s and 70s, gave birth to the entire 'show choir' movement. 

Today, literally thousands of singing groups in major amusement parks, high schools and colleges across  the nation can trace their roots to The Young Americans.  Among its 3000+ alumni are professionals in motion pictures, television, radio, recording, and on Broadway.

Entertainment Line-up for Alpenfest 2010

The evening entertainment begins Tuesday, July 13, with the traditional Alpenfest Queen’s Pageant, featuring a collection of poised and talented young women vying for the honor of representing the Alpine Village.

The Young Americans make their annual visit to Gaylord at Noon on Wednesday, July 14.

On Wednesday evening, July 14, "Blackhawk" , A National known top Country Band. This group is a must see to kick off our Festival.

Thursday evening, July 15, "Lights",  A tribute act  to Journey, get there early, this one is going to be standing room only.

Friday evening, July 16,  "Annabelle Road",   this young group plays everything from Journey to Johnny Cash.

Saturday evening, July 17,  on our main stage for the 2010 Alpenfest finale  "The System",  a tribute to the Legendary Bob Seger. His career has spanned over five decades, with 11 platinum albums.  This act is sure to please.
