There are lots of outdoor winter activites in the Gaylord Area

In Gaylord you'll find the gently sloping terrain, heavily wooded forests and deep annual snowfall ideal for Nordic skiing. It is also not uncommon to see plentiful wildlife out on the trail. Our facilities range from rustic and scenic at the Pigeon River State Forest, to elegant and expertly groomed.

Downhill skiing is also popular for the snow lovers that come to Gaylord. Treetops Resort offers 23 downhill ski runs, tubing run, terrain park and quarter pipe, as well as instructions.  Otsego Club & Resort offers private skiing offering short lift lines, 27 runs and a tubing park.
