Trails can be rated "Poor ~ Fair" condition at this time depending on the area. More towards fair where the trail is protected by woods. Where the trail is out in the open they become poor and have some dirt spots. Chance of snow showers in the forecast. Grooming is on hold! As always please check back here for updates.

Gaylord To Mackinaw Trail
Gaylord To Mackinaw City trail starts at Fairview Rd. in Gaylord and is offically referred to as the North Central State Trail.
Indian River to Cheboygan Trail
Closed midnight to 8:00 am
Speed Limit 35 mph - Regulations Strictly Enforced

Through Downtown Gaylord
City Sidewalks!
Visitors should be aware that even though we encourage snowmobilers to visit town, sidewalks are for pedestrians. The City of Gaylord Police have been giving tickets to snowmobiles on sidewalks. You can get to within one block of downtown using the trail, so please park your sled and walk the rest of the way.
Crossing Main St.!
Snowmobiles may not cross Main Street between the Railroad tracks to the West and Elm St. to the East. The snowmobile trail crosses Main St. at the railroad tracks.
Travel Within The City!
Snowmobiles may travel no faster than 10 M.P.H. on city side streets. No travel is allowed on M-32 (Main St.) or Old 27.
