
City of Gaylord Centennial Parade and City Hall Open House!

The Centennial Parade and City Hall Open House is a family oriented event that celebrates the City of Gaylord’s Centennial. Entries are encouraged to decorate in accordance with the theme – “Celebrating 100 years of Community” and are encourage to incorporate elements of Gaylord’s History. The Centennial Parade is not an opportunity to advertise, campaign or deliver an address. Entries featuring candidates currently running for office or controversial issues will not be permitted. Currently seated political officials may participate by invitation only.
All entries are subject to approval by the City of Gaylord. The City of Gaylord reserves the right to refuse any entry that is not in good taste or in the best interest of the City, as ascertained by the City or Centennial Committee. Violation of any rule may result in the immediate removal of an entry before or during the Centennial Parade.

Parade starting at 12 noon from the Dog Park, and ending at City Hall for the Open House where there will be: Art Exhibit, Artwork from Gaylord Area Council for the Arts, “Hometown Exhibit”, The Centennial Time Capsule (bring something to but in the Time Capsule). City Public Work Trucks and City Police Vehicles on display for children and adults of all ages to explore, Farmer’s Market and Sidewalk Sales.
