4th Annual Grill on the Hill 2022

Friday is for setup. Saturday is for some serious tastin’ & BBQin’! This competition is open to any level of cooking skills as well as those who are just here for a good time! If you and your best friends are looking for a fun weekend up north and a place to share your love of grilling with other barbeque enthusiasts, this is the place for you. You will get the opportunity to share your special skill and creativity with the “tasters” who will be on the search for the best BBQ.   You are to provide your own grill but are limited to charcoal, wood, or pellet type ( no gas).    There will be one first-place winner chosen in each category of the People’s Choice competition. Winners are chosen by the “tasters”.

In addition to the people’s choice awards, there will be a team of judges who will make their rounds to each team’s booth. They will be judging each team using the following categories on a rating scale 1-10 ( 10 being the best):

• Appearance
• Taste
• Tenderness

We will award  1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place for the “Judges Choice” competition.

Along with the competition you will find:

• BBQ tasting
• Celebrity Chef demonstrations
• Vendors Booth featuring items such as grilling equipment and accessories, specialty spices and sauces, local arts and crafts
• Beer Tents that feature local breweries pouring samples
• Live entertainment
• Live Radio Coverage
• Lawn Games

Taster Packages:

• Adult 21+ years or older $35 includes the following
  • T-shirts if purchased by April 22nd, 2022. Please indicate shirt size.
  • Unlimited BBQ tasting
  • Ability to vote for “People’s Choice” Best Brisket, Ribs and Pork Butt
  • (4) beer sampling
• Ages 12-20 years old $25
  • T-shirts if purchased by April 22nd, 2022. Please indicate shirt size.

  • (2) Pop or water
• Ages 12 and under are free
