Kids Outdoors Otsego – Family Hike at Aspen Park “Autumn”

We’ll walk the trails, see the Fall colors and explore at Gaylord’s Aspen Park. Fall colors! Woods, meadows, and ponds! The elk viewing park is nearby! What will we discover? Will we see any migrating birds? Will animals be storing food for winter?  

– We’ll mix up a trail snack and do a make-it project, then head onto the trails.  
– The park trails include paved loops that are good for strollers, wagons, etc.  Also some trails with well-packed natural/ dirt surfaces.  We’ll choose our paths to suit the group.   
– The park has a porta john restroom facility.

As always –
– KOO’s focus is on children from birth to eight, with their parents/ caregivers. Other family are very welcome too!

– Parents, you are with your children at all times.
– We’ll be outside throughout – dress for the weather.   We go rain or shine.   
– Free of charge.
– OK to end things early if that’s best for your family, AND it’s ok to stay at the park longer if you wish.
– Water provided- bring your own bottles.

We’ll hike kid distances and take time to explore. The kids’ young eyes are GREAT at spotting interesting details and discovering curious things.
