KOO Fall Hike

KOO’s focus is on children birth to eight, with their Parents/ Caregivers.  Older siblings are very welcome too.

No charge.

Parents, you are with your children at all times.

Water is provided- bring your own water bottle(s) to fill.

As always, it’s OK to leave when that’s right for your family.

Combining with HeadWaters, the overall hike will include people of all ages.   The adults may hike further; we’ll split up as appropriate for those who want to do a shorter distance.

For our make-it, kids can mix a bag of trail snack & make a hiking stick.

We are outside, so recommended Covid 19 health precautions will be easy – families are together, social distance, and face masks as needed.   Hand sanitizer will be available.  

This activity is outside, rain or shine- dress for the weather. 

The Groen Preserve has lots of trails and variety!   Woods, meadow, wetland areas.  The trails are maintained, natural surfaces, with some slopes, roots, occasional muddy spots, etc.  Walking (or backpack carrier for small children) is  good.
