The Wolf and The Willow, a prequel to Windigo Moon, is set in 1528 and grounded in historical events concerning the first contact between Indigenous peoples and European explorers.  It delves into the clash of cultures between Native Americans and Spanish conquistdors, and brims with adventure, romance and humanity, and we just learned that is has been accepted by the Pulitzer Prize committee for review!
