Otsego County Household Hazardous Waste Disposal and Electronics Day! July 13th, 2024, at the Otsego County Road Commission located at 669 West McCoy Road, from 9 am to 2 pm.

Tire Recycling – FREE for Otsego County Residents and Landowners
Passenger vehicle, semi, tractor, and ORV tires are accepted. Must be smaller than 4’ tall and 12” wide. Tires may be on rim. *Limit 15 tires per household*

Electronics Recycling – $5 per TV
ACCEPTED FOR FREE:   Desktop and laptop computers, Tablets and computer monitors, Desktop printers and scanners, Fax machines, Computer keyboards and mice
Gaming consoles, DVD players and VCRs, Cell phones.

NOT ACCEPTED: Microwaves, Air conditioners, Toasters, Coffee makers, Mixers, Vacuums, Lamps, Irons, Blow dryers.

Program made possible by the Otsego County Recycling Millage and EGLE grants.

Hazardous Waste Disposal is available for businesses by appointment only. Must produce less than 220lbs of waste per month and never accumulate more than 2,200lbs. Fee is $50 + $1/pound. Call 989-732-4021 to schedule an appointment.

Helpful Hints: – Please do not mix liquids. Keep them in their original containers if possible.  Stay in your vehicle upon arrival.
