October 1^st-3^rd is the 36^th Annual Treetops Charity Invitational brought to you by Pepsi is a 432-player golf tournament raising funds for many local organizations and charities within Otsego County through the Treetops Charitable Fund. Our event brings together a community of golfers both locally and across the country including PGA professionals, Michigan Open Winners and Player of the year to raise money for the community we call home.

Since 1987, our tournament has grown tremendously. From a one-day event on one golf course to a three-day event on three golf courses, our tournament has had over 10,000 golfers participate. As the size of the event continues to grow so does the funds donated to our community. As one of the largest amateur charity events, the Treetops Charity Invitational and Treetops Resort have been able to continually provide funding to local youth sports and activities including Gaylord Youth Football, Gaylord Little League, and Gaylord Blue Devil Hockey Boosters, local schools and clubs, the Otsego Memorial Hospital (OMH), Salvation Army, and New Life Pregnancy Resource Center. Our funds specifically have contributed $15,000 to the OMH Emergency Room Project, over $25,000 to the Hospice of Michigan and over $80,000 has been awarded in scholarships to students who graduated from Gaylord High School, Gaylord St Mary’s and Johannesburg-Lewiston Schools.
