The Museum
Enjoy an exciting, educational trip through the Call of the Wild! See beautiful displays of whitetail deer, the majestic elk, moose, black bear, Alaskan brown bear, polar bear, timber wolves, coyotes, raccoons and many more. Learn about their behavior and habitat. Listen to the wolves howl and the elk bugle!

The Museum is rich in Michigan history with two projected image displays about early Michigan fur trapper, Joseph Bailly, telling about his life in the deep forest of Michigan during the 1800’s. You’ll also find a small theater and interactive Great Lakes display.

Shopping
Offering many different collectible lines such as Fenton Art Glass, Demdaco’s Willow Tree, Terry Redlin Gifts, Charming Tails, Painted Ponies and Black Hills Gold Jewelry. You will also find a variety of gifts with that “Up North” feel: “Call of the Wolf” collectibles, Lang mugs & calendars, fleece throws & jackets, wildlife puzzles, Petoskey Stone jewelry, and many items with moose, whitetail deer, wolves, black bear, loons and other Northern Michigan animals on them. The gift shop also has a large learning and children’s department. There is a great selection of books for children & adults, and educational toys, puzzles, etc. for the kids.

Bavarian Falls Park
Just outside the museum, you’ll find fun for all ages at a putt-putt golf course with a large waterfall. A go-kart track is also adjacent, providing an entire day of activities for the whole family.
