Get ready to groove your way into the weekend all summer long! Our outdoor summer music series in Gaylord will be happening every Friday night. That’s 14 free concerts right downtown (minus Alpenfest weekend). These family-friendly events start at 7:00 pm in Claude Shannon Park. If you think you’ll need a break from dancing, don’t forget to BYOC (bring your own chair). Drinks and food are available just steps away at our downtown locations.

May 15, 2025 – The Remedee: A local, northern Michigan band that brings you the best of rock & roll, country and R&B. With a mix of classic hits and crowd favorites, they play the music you grew up with and so much more, delivering high-energy performances that get everyone moving!
May 22, 2026 – Serita’s Black Rose: Serita Crowley, a self-proclaimed “Funkateer,” brings a soulful mix of funk, rock, and blues with her band, Serita’s Black Rose. With powerful vocals and a natural chemistry on stage, Serita and Jon Hayes deliver a high-energy mix of originals and throwback hits.


May 29, 2026 – The Ride: A high-energy Northern Michigan country rock band that knows how to bring the party. With powerful vocals, electrifying guitar, and a setlist packed with crowd favorites, their performances get everyone singing, dancing, and having a blast from start to finish.
June 5, 2026 – Dig A Pony: A Northern Michigan Beatles tribute band that brings the legendary music of The Fab Four to life. Made up of talented musicians, they cover the full span of The Beatles’ career, from the early hits that started a revolution to the later masterpieces that defined a generation, delivering an authentic, energetic and unforgettable experience for fans of all ages.


June 12, 2026 – The Marsupials: Blending rock, funk, indie, and more into a sound that doesn’t try to fit in a box since 2014. After years of playing shows across Michigan, they’ve built a reputation for bringing the energy and keeping things fun, with a style that’s completely their own.
June 19, 2026 – The Rupple Brothers: A Michigan-based psychedelic folk ensemble known for their improvisational, free-spirited sound. Blending rich harmonies with eclectic instrumentation, their performances create a unique, high-energy experience rooted in creativity, connection and a positive, feel-good vibe.


June 26, 2026 – Jake Allen & TJ Rankin: Jake Allen brings a layered, genre-blending sound that mixes prog-pop, ambient textures and standout guitar work. His live shows move between mellow, dreamlike moments and bigger, groove-driven songs, all tied together with a style that feels both technical and easy to get into.
July 3, 2026 – Seth Bernard & Jordan Hamilton: Seth Bernard is a staple in Michigan’s music scene, known for his original songs and deep roots in community work. His performances are both uplifting and powerful, blending thoughtful songwriting with dynamic guitar work that connects with every crowd.


July 10, 2026 – Guys Like Us: A high-energy variety band playing hits from the 1950s through today. From classic rock and disco to Motown, country, Americana and more, their setlist covers it all, delivering a fun, crowd-pleasing show that keeps audiences dancing and singing along all night long.
July 24, 2026 – Dueling Pianos: Get ready for a high-energy, interactive show where the audience is the star. Two talented pianists go head-to-head, playing everything from classic hits to modern favorites, while encouraging the crowd to sing, dance, and make requests. The result is a lively, unforgettable experience full of laughs, surprises and non-stop entertainment for everyone in the room.


July 31, 2026 – Tyler Roy Band: A high-energy country singer-songwriter from Lake City, MI. With tight musicianship, powerful originals and crowd-focused performances, he delivers a full-throttle country experience that keeps audiences engaged from the first chord to the last encore.
August 7, 2026 – The Galactic Sherpas: a Michigan-based band delivering a truly one-of-a-kind live experience. Blending funk, reggae, and rock with deep, improvisational jams, their performances are unpredictable, immersive, and full of high-energy moments. Known for taking audiences on a dynamic sonic journey, they craft every show with creativity, spontaneity, and a groove that keeps fans dancing, smiling and coming back for more.


August 14, 2026 – Pinter Whitnick: A band that brings people together through the power of music. Their sets move seamlessly from ’80s anthems to moody ’90s alt-rock, drawing inspiration from artists like Whitney Houston, Billy Idol, Radiohead, and The Cranberries. Kayleigh and Alex share vocals, backed by guitar, bass, keys and drums.
August 21, 2026 – MotorCity Memories Band: Don’t miss the final concert of the season! Motorcity Memories Band is a talented group of seasoned musicians dedicated to creating an energetic and fun atmosphere. With their wide range of music from the 50s to the 80s, they bring people together for a nostalgic experience that’s sure to get you dancing and singing along!
