2026 Memorial Day Parade – Downtown Gaylord

Parade begins at 10 AM and marches east down Main Street to the Memorial in front of the courthouse. VFW Post 1518 will lead the parade, and community members will carry the 20’x30′ American Flag. At the Memorial, the VFW will ceremoniously fold the flag, place it on display and proceed with the ceremony. Come and be a part of this special day.

Stick around after the parade for the ceremony. Listen to guest speaker, Sergeant First Class (Retired) David Hyde. Wreaths will be presented, a rifle salute and taps.
