It’s the one day a year where everyone can show a bit o’ Irish spirit, and that’s St Patrick’s Day! This year, Eagle 101.5 will celebrate its 26th Annual St Patrick’s Day Parade, through downtown Gaylord, on Saturday, March 14th. The radio station is encouraging community businesses, organizations, groups, along with individual revelers to participate in the parade down Main Street. Whether it’s on a float, in a vehicle, or just walking along with route donning green and orange while showing your Irish spirit, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun before, during and after the parade. Spectators are encouraged to line up along Main Street to enjoy the celebration, where candy will be passed out along the route.

Festivities get underway at 10 am that Saturday morning, with a special breakfast served at Timothy’s Pub recognizing this year’s Parade Grand Marshal Jerry Lambert. The lineup for the parade begins at 11:30 am, forming along Michigan Avenue, next to the Gaylord Area Chamber of Commerce. The parade kicks off at Noon, proceeding east down Main Street (M-32) to South Center Avenue, then one block south to First Street before concluding at the downtown pavilion. Immediately following the parade, everyone is welcome to enjoy a complimentary bowl of Irish stew provided at Timothy’s Pub.
