Perched at the highest elevation in the Lower Peninsula, 1,382 feet above sea level, and receiving an impressive annual snowfall of 148 inches, Gaylord stands out as Michigan’s ultimate ski destination. We kicked off the 2024/2025 season with a blizzard that dropped more than 24 inches of snow in just 24 hours, and by the end of the year, we’d hit an incredible 205 inches total, breaking not one but two snowfall records.
